Your scans never leave
your devices.

LeafCopy is a document scanner for iPhone made by EEKOTECH LLC. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: nothing you scan is sent to us, and we collect no data.

What LeafCopy stores

• Your scans. Each scan is saved as a PDF on your iPhone. If iCloud Drive is turned on for LeafCopy, the PDFs are stored in your own iCloud Drive (in the LeafCopy folder) so they appear on your other devices. Eekotech has no access to your iCloud Drive.
• Text recognized from your scans. OCR runs entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. The recognized text is embedded in the PDF so you can search it. It is not sent anywhere.
• Settings. A few preferences (for example, whether you dismissed the Pro screen) are stored on your device only.

What LeafCopy does not do

• It does not create accounts and has no servers.
• It does not collect analytics, crash reports, advertising identifiers, or usage data.
• It does not use third-party SDKs, trackers, or advertising.
• It does not upload your scans, photos, or recognized text to Eekotech or anyone else.

Camera and Photos

LeafCopy asks for camera access to scan pages and for photo-library access to import pages you already have. Images are processed on the device and used only to build your PDFs. You can change these permissions at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security.

Purchases

LeafCopy Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment and holds your billing details; LeafCopy only receives confirmation that the purchase is active. Apple's handling of that data is described in Apple's privacy policy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Sharing

When you share a PDF (by AirDrop, Mail, Messages, or another app), the file goes directly from your device to the app or person you choose. Eekotech is not involved.

Children

LeafCopy is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. It collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
